African Children’s Stories

African Children’s Stories is a program created by the Ducere Foundation – who aim to publish and distribute collections from each African nation by 2025.

Each collection provides culturally relevant materials which can then be used as a learning tool for the acceleration of literacy skills as well as giving children pride in their own culture and identity.

I work as a freelance Senior Designer for the Foundation, with the African Children’s Stories being one of my favourite projects to work on – from the cover design to the layout (and reading each story!).
