HELLO! I’M BRIDGET!

Senior designer, small business owner, illustrator and dyslexic thinker (it’s like a super power).

I have over 18 years experience working as a designer (both in-house/freelancing), hold a full professional membership of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA), member of Chromatical Club, an Asana Ambassador and a published Illustrator.

REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE

Many moons ago I started to freelance as a design student with my own company, Elastic Design, and essentially have been cranking the design cog for various org’s ever since.

I landed my first job at Capital Publishing in Wellington (New Zealand) when I was in my early 20s. They published a free alternative weekly newspaper that focused on local events, the arts scene, and broader issues concerning the region. From there I jumped around various other publishers/media outlets – including Fairfax – before moving to Melbourne in 2006.

These days I keep myself busy with my own freelance clients (publishing, not-for-profit, music, government and small business) and working part-time for a global business school, which is also why my office hours – Monday, Tuesday and Thursday’s – are a bit whack. I’m also know for illustrating my dating life – and getting them published in a calendar. #swipeleft

I could go in depth about my design experience – but I’m thinking it’s easier to either to reach out for a chat, or connect via the socials.
